"I enjoyed your music tremendously. Keep doing what you're doing!" Jean Meyer, Towne Crier

If some people hit their mid-life crisis and get a toupee and a sports car, what do musicians do?

They form the ultimate Groove/R&B/Smooth Jazz band that can only be described as “an aphrodisiac for the spirit.” That's the story behind
the dangling success! Five seasoned musicians with varied backgrounds got together to play music with the kind of soul that moves not only your feet, but your spirit too!

We are familiar with playing in many different settings. We put on a high energy show, our sax and guitar player are known for their showmanship, frequently standing on chairs in the audience.  Yet we also play dinner music and background music during receptions. We do Concerts, Receptions, Corporate Events and even house parties!

On our website you'll find a representation of our original music, however we do perform a healthy dose of familiar standards as well. The covers include tunes like Grover Washington Jr.'s "Soulful Struttin'" and "Mr. Magic." We will also recall standards such as "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" and "Cantaloupe Island" and R&B classics like "Get Down on It," “Pick Up the Pieces,” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy.”

One thing is clear, the fun the band members have on stage is contagious, and the audience is quick to join in.

These veteran musicians have been making music for years with acts like the Isley Brothers, Don Mclean, The Shirelles, John Platania, Bernard Purdie and Guilherme Franco.  Locally you've heard them with the Phantoms, the Big Smoothies, Flashback,  and the Little Scotty and the Knockouts Jam Band. But you have never heard them like this. The dangling success is mesmerizing, intoxicating and electrifying!
